My photography journey officially began in 2022, but the passion behind it has been growing for years. Before I picked up the camera professionally, I spent a decade working in the public sector here in Ottawa. While that career provided stability, my heart was always drawn to creativity and the desire to capture and preserve life’s most beautiful moments. This passion eventually led me to create Letters To My Daughter, where I could combine my organizational skills with my love for storytelling through the lens.
As a photographer, I specialize in motherhood and family photography, focusing on creating heirloom-quality images that capture each family's love, connection, and unique dynamics My approach is both professional and deeply personal, ensuring that every session is not only a reflection of your family’s story but also a comfortable, enjoyable experience.
here’s my story
Outside of my work, I’m a wife, a mother, and someone who thrives on creativity and adventure. I was born in California, but my family moved to Ottawa before I turned one, and this city has been home ever since. Growing up as the only girl in a family full of boys—two brothers and many cousins—I was always pushed to be adventurous and take on new challenges. This spirit of adventure has stayed with me, from my skydiving escapades to living abroad in Dubai and California before meeting my husband.
I also deeply love planning and creating beautiful experiences, whether it's a family trip to Europe or my daughter’s birthday party. My friends often think I’m a bit crazy for starting the planning process months in advance, but for me, it’s about curating the details that make every moment special and memorable.

My daughter, Aiana, is the light of my life and the inspiration behind Letters To My Daughter. Watching her grow has been a journey filled with joy, wonder, and a touch of nostalgia. She is the perfect mix of her father’s bubbly personality and my love for exploration. We named her after one of our favorite restaurants, Aiana, which holds special memories for my husband and me. From the moment she was born, she has been a constant source of inspiration, reminding me every day of the beauty in life’s small, fleeting moments.
